Church Council

Trinity North Uniting Church is governed by a Church Council. The church council consists of 9 elected members and people in ministry. It meets every second month. It’s role is to maintain an overview of the direction and mission of the congregation and to oversee the work of the Ministry Area Coordinators.

Ministry Area Coordinators

Ministry Area Coordinators are appointed by Church Council to coordinate those activities those activities which are best undertaken across Trinity North.

The Ministry Area Coordinators are:

  • Community Outreach –  To oversee, encourage and coordinate the responding to God’s love in service through community outreach and mission programmes 
  • Finance, Administration & Property manages the financial, administrative and property matters for all the worshipping communities, including publicity and communications.
  • WorshipTo encourage, enable and coordinate celebrating God’s love through worship including oversight of the preaching plan, combined services etc
  • Children & Youth Ministry – To oversee, encourage and coordinate sharing of God’s Love in community through faith development and fellowship in children and youth ministries.

Worshipping Communities

Within Trinity North Uniting Church there are two Worshipping Communities, St Stephen’s and Greenwood which worship at Cousins Hall, St Stephen’s School Duncraig and Marlock Drive Greenwood respectively. Each Community has a Pastoral Leadership Group to ensure the worshipping community is vibrant, inclusive and Christ-like in the community as it celebrates God’s love in Worship, shares God’s love in Community and responds to God’s love in service.
